Brighouse Charity Shop
Brighouse Charity Shop

Our Brighouse Charity Shop is a busy town-centre establishment selling a wide range of good-quality clothes, bric-a-brac, pictures, jewellery, toys, electrical items, books, DVDs and CDs. We have found that we can sell an erormous amount of high-end bric-a-brac and have recently sold a Shelley tea-service for £125 and a signed picture for £100.

The shop is managed by Mike who is more than ably assisted by his right-hand woman Helena. However, we couldn't manage without our fabulous band of volunteers who work anything from 2 hours to full days. The team comprises of both women and men whose ages range from 16 to 80+. We are always on the lookout for other people to join our hard-working, proactive and friendly team, so if you are interested, please phone Mike or Helena on the number below for an informal chat. We also work closely with the probation service, Job Centre Plus and the Youth Offending Team.
We greatfully accept all donations (even rags) but we are especially interested in bric-a-brac and glassware. Remember - just because YOU don't like it, doesn't mean that others won't LOVE it!
