Our Tremendous Trio

Sunday 28th September 2014 3:48 PM

Introducing the newest members of our cattery, Floyd, Rosie and Zepplyn.

These 3 cats have had the worst start imaginable. They were picked up by RSPCA Inspectors as part of a cruelty investigation when they were small kittens. They were all underweight, full of cat flu and had sores on their bodies. Zepplyn was particularly bad as his eyeball had exploded out of its socket. The owners had taken him to the vets but left without treatment. A vet said that it had been hanging out at least 5 days.

Once in RSPCA care Zepplyn's eye was removed immediately as it could not be saved and all the kittens were treated for their cat flu and sores. The owners were taken to court and found guilty of neglect.

Now all 3 kittens are beautiful healthy young cats and are ready for their forever loving homes. Zepplyn is the most confident out of the 3 but the other's are not far behind. As they have been in rescue from a young age it may take a while for them to settle into their new homes and adapt to home life but with plenty of love and patience we are confident they will be wonderful pets.
