Brook- Our gentle boy

Brook came into the RSPCA due to concerns over his welfare. He had a broken leg which was in urgent need of treatment. He had his leg pinned, and is now well on the road to recovery. Brook has got the typical gentle nature of greyhounds, and absolutely loves being stroked and fussed over. He likes playing with toys and will carry a soft toy around with him. Brook spends a lot of time relaxing like a lot of Greyhounds, but also has a cheeky side, and enjoys having a nosey around the office he goes in during the day. Although we have very limited history on Brook we beleive that he is house trained because he is clean in an office during the day. Brook now needs a home with a family who will love and care for him.

Edith seeks permanent retirement home!!

Edith was, originally brought to the Centre by an Inspector as she was found wandering around looking bedraggled and thin.
Lucky Edith was then adopted but sadly due to the ill health of her owner she is now back with us, but staying in a foster home.
Edith loves to sit on your knee and is a very affectionate little cat. She also loves to play and has mad half hours where she charges around.
As Edith is over 10 years old she qualifies for the EARS Scheme which offers lots of benefits for people adopting older animals.

This lovely cat so deserves a family of her own. If you can offer her love and security in her twilight years please call into our reception or ring 01422 365628

Can you sew for our Centre?

We have had lots of furry fabric donated and now need willinging volunteers to turn it into lots of comfy beds for our animals. We are also holding a furry friends event in July and would like sewers to turn our fabric into a variety of different items e.g. toys, hot water bottle covers, pencil cases etc....

If you can spare some time please call into our reception to collect some material.
