Urgent Cat Food Appeal

The Centre cares for 100 cats daily either in the Centre or in foster care. The increasing amount of cats and kittens coming through our doors has really impacted on our food supplies; we have hardly any biscuits and have very little meat. With lots of hungry mouths to feeds we are appealing for cat food donations to help us care for the cats and kittens in our centre.. We would be very grateful for kitten, adult and senior wet food and any brand of biscuits, we also use a lot of sensitive cat meat which can be bought from our Centre. Thank you

Furry Friends Open Day Results

The weather was lovely and the day was a great success enjoyed by many. We raised nearly £500 profit which is fantastic!!

The small animals also had a great time and the ferrets provided great fun- running up and down their tunnels.

Cream teas and hot dogs were enjoyed by all.

The names chosen for the baby rabbits are Dodgem, Fluffy, Lance, Silky and Twinkle

As part of the quiz we asked for names for our small animals. These names will now be used so look out for these names appearing on animals for adoption.

We apologise sincerely to all the families who turned up the day after. This was due to an advertising error. We hope to see you at the event next year though so look out for details on our website next year

Finally the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & District Branch would like to give a big thankyou to staff and volunteers who worked so hard to organise the event or run stalls.

K9 Party in the Park

Come and join us at Manor Heath Halifax on Sunday 9th September for our annual Fun Dog Show.

This is a great family day out and as well as lots of dog classes there will be stall and games, micro chipping, small animals tent and lots more!!

Raffle Prizes needed

We really need tombola prizes! Event season is coming up and we need your tombola donations to help raise funds for our animals. Tombola is a very successful game for us and we do raise a lot from it, but we need good prizes to make that happen!
You can drop off your donations at our Animal Centre or at any of our events you attend - you never know.......you might win them back!!
