EARS Celebration

10 Years of EARS was a great success enjoyed by over 6000 people. We raised nearly £2000 for our Elderley Animal Rehoming Scheme which is a fantastic result.

We adopted Sandy, a lovely tortoise shell cat under the EARS scheme 3 yrs ago, she was left outside the centre overnight with her younger soul-mate Mollie. We never found out why. They were inseparable, so we took both of them. They have been an absolute joy and we really cannot recommend the EARS scheme highly enough.

We recently adopted our second EARS pet (sadly our first one became ill and passed away, after a great two summers with us). Pippa is a 13 year old poodle, who was badly neglected. She's a delightful dog, who we knew could live with cats, thanks to the knowledge the EARS scheme can give through it's foster carers. She has settled in with our assorted cats, and is enjoying life to the full in her twilight years! Many thanks to the RSPCA, it's a wonderful scheme!!

I strongly recommend adopting an EARS Animal I adopted a gorgeous 16 year old cat called Wilbur in September 2011 and he's fantastic! I love him to pieces! He's perfect for me and my situation, the scheme is such a brilliant idea it gives me that extra little bit of support sometimes needed for the oldies!
