Campaign to Change the Law on Dogs
The Sun has launched a petition and campaign to change the law on dogs in line with the RSPCA's demands.
The paper says it's time to stop demonising dogs and instead hold owners accountable for their pet's behaviour - the campaign is very clear in its demands:
· make every dog's owner accountable for its actions
· microchip every dog
· have one national dog registration system
· prevent cruelty and attacks by giving police and dog wardens power to issue warnings when people aren't doing the right things for and with their dog
